My home blood sugar levels very high
I am facing blurred vision and excessive thirst so just randomly checked my blood sugar levels at home and was shocked to see the blood sugar levels at 538 yesterday. Today, again I checked fasting levels and it was 335. Random was in 500s today as well. Please advise which test should I go for to rule out Diabetes. My family history- parents are both diabetics. I have been earlier diagnosed with diabetes in my pregnancy six years ago.

The gold standard test to confirm diabetes is HbA1C in the lab. Would recommend obtaining fasting and PP sugar levels as well.
Next Steps
Consult online to discuss with lab reports to decide whether you need medication

By the symptoms and reports it is diabetes but it’s better to check once in lab. So need to start exercise regularly, consult dietian for diet chart. After confirming the report can start on medicines.
