My doctor preferred glycomet for 3 mont
I was missed periods for 3 months and I consulted Endocrinogy dr and he suggested hormone test all the test was normal including sugar. But he suggested glycomet tab for 3 months ,after having glycomet within 2 days I got periods. Can I continue glycomet and is there any side effects and came to know that it is for sugar patients also is there any problem when I have it for 3 month's

There is a lot of confusion in your description. You are 42 years old. You are in the perimenopausal state. Did you get your urine pregnancy test done? Did you consult a Gynaecologist also? Glycomet is for Diabetes. It has nothing to do with your periods because the periods depend on interplay of various female hormones. So it is just a coincidence that you had your periods two days after stopping Glycomet. Miracles don't happen every time.
