My child sleeps on side
My child is almost 45 days old now. From few days he is sleeping comfortably on either of sides. Whenever I try to place him on his back , he cries and never sleeps comfortably and cries or wake up. Is it okay to make child sleep on side . Otherthan SIDS is thr any other things to worry. Plz guide.

Hello it's OK if you can ensurethat the nose does not get blocked. You can use support on the sides to prevent baby from proning

Apart from SiDS, suffocation, if accidentally rolls on to stomach and face submerged in sheets Wryneck more likely

Greetings need not be worried it's normal ,kindly look for that the nose is not obstructed by cloth
