If it would have been fracture it would have been visible on xray if xray portrays loss of lumbar lordosis only then you can exclude fracture from your list. However nerve damage often accompanys altered sensation to the affected area. It can be due to muscle imbalances or muscle weakness.

If pain is much,swelling,redness is present means go for X ray,with x ray pls visit nearby physiotherapy clinic or orthopaedician for proper assessment and treatment
Mean while to reduce the pain u can take some diclofenac content medication.
