My 17 month old child has no teeth
Hi sir,
My daughter is 17 months old. Still, there are no teeth. Her weight and height are normal. I went to the dentist he said you have to visit Pediatrician. But they give 7 months date. Bcoz in Kuwait, we are on government insurance.
My Daughter is on breastfeed and taking rice, cereals, grains, chicken, tender meats, potatoes and some sort of fruits.
Pls suggest what should we do.? as per my research on the net it shows vitamin D and calcium deficiency. pls suggest good vitamin medicine

Kindly check both the parents' history of their tooth eruption.if an x ray shows completely developed teeth,operculectomy would help.vitamin does not help in eruption.

It depends its not necessary tat all childrens teeth erupt at same age as a mother of two my daughters teeth erupted after 15 months so its quite normal but to avoid any problem take a full mouth xray if there are tooth present only solution would b to wait for the teeth to erupt or incise gingiva if they might b preventing teeth to erupt.
