Muscle tear- left shoulde
Had severe pain in left shoulder , can't lift arm for 2 days Consulted with nearby doctor and found that it's a muscle tear , he suggested for a physiotherapist, am quite shaken will this be serious, please walk me through the procedures and how to cure it by regular works please.

Hello ..I do understand your concern..but its not that severe ..its a very common condition which we come across everyday..as your Dr said immediately go to physiotherapist.. Clinically evaluation will be done and will guide you with exercises on regular basis..first your pain will be subsided with modalities ..mobilization and ex's..will surely help you.

Body has its own function of healing.....in u r case there ...are so many....problems in u r shoulder joints.....degenerative changes.......bicipital tendinitis...........there is no lubrication.. in u r joint right now.. . .u must be having some physical insult to....joint... . But u dont worry go to.... u r therapist.... do the pain reduction.if any.. and follow ....the instruction....nothing to worry u wil be....able to lift.. ur arm.... just ..drink..lot of water....have balanced diet...and excs.. for u r shoulder.....every day...take care thanks.....
