Your father will require a pain killer to try and control the pain, restart the vitamin B12 deficency medications, he will also require another multivitamin to correct other deficiencies, increase intake of water to 3 liters per day if he doesn't have any renal problems. It is likely that due to the vitamin B12 deficency has caused reduced red blood cell production which would've reduced the effective oxygen transport throughout the body.
