Multivitamins for Kids
Hi, is it safe to give multivitamins to kids without a doctor prescription to build their immunity in these COVID times? Is Boldfit multivitamin gummies safe to give to kids daily and is there a break needed after taking multivitamins for sometime?

Hi. Please don’t give any supplements to kids without consulting your pediatrician. Many Vitamins have key roles in immunity but they are so specific and the recommended dietary allowance is so much less that they are called micronutrients. There are many cases of hypervitaminosis and vitamin toxicities. And honestly there is no scientific study published in any decent journal about the immunity boosting property in covid ( some articles vouched for Vitamin C and Zinc but mostly not peer reviewed). I am not able to help you regarding Boldfit gummies as I am not sure of its composition.

Hi. Multivitamins are not a must. Give 2 different fruits and 1 vegetables per day. Early morning sunlight exposure. Good healthy diet and hygiene is enough for immunity
