Hello. We measure radiation exposure in units called milli Sievert (mSv). The safe limit for general population is 1 mSv in one year and for us radiation workers is 20 mSv in one year. A breast scan also called a mammogram exposes you to 0.4 mSv of radiation, which falls in the safe range. A chest X Ray is about 0.1 mSv which is also safe. A CT is much higher about 2 mSv for head CT and 7 mSv for chest CT. Overall you should NOT be at a high risk for developing cancer based on your radiation exposure alone. But you need to avoid getting scans done unless advised by your doctor. Adopt a healthy lifestyle, stay active and you will be fine. Thanks.
