Multiple Nosebleeds in Two Days
I have had 5 nosebleeds in the past two days, three yesterday two today. Each lasted 5-10mins. I live in a cold climate and was prone to them as a kid but this is my first time as an adult. I also started taking Zoloft (25mg) a week ago and I'm supposed to up my dose to 50mg today but I'm worried these frequent nosebleeds may be a side effect of the medicine. Is it common to have multiple nosebleeds due to dry air or should I be concerned?

Yes it is common for nose bleeds when exposed to cold / hot dry dusty atmosphere. Usually nasal mucosal lining gets dried and small blood vessels tend to bleed. Avoid such areas and dehydration. Drink lots of water, take steam inhalations regularly and nasal saline drops or gel which maintain the humid nature of internal nose.
Health Tips
in case of bleed, pinch the nose n hold for 5-7 min n breathe through mouth. if bleed doesn't stop rush to hospital for nasal endoscopy & cauterisation of bleeder
