What is the diagnosis when SPEP and immunofixation show polyclonal gammopathy but FLC ratio is marginally elevated with slightly high kappa chains ?
My mother's SPEP and immunofixation, both are negative for monoclonal proteins but positive for polyclonal gammopathy.
However, her kappa chains are slightly high, at 33.5 (Ref- 3 to 19.5)
Her ratio is 1.94 (Ref- 0.26 to 1.65)
No CRAB features.
Is it multiple myeloma? Or can these elevations be due to polyclonal gammopathy as well ?
