I have mucocele behind my lip I am worried about medical checkup in army entrance test What do I do ?

If it is already diagnosed by a competent person then it can be removed surgically without even a scar. If it is not diagnosed then kindly first get it diagnosed as swellings of lips can be due to many reasons.

Hello dear Please be calm See mucocele is an extravasation cyst due to either trauma or saliva obstruction.it will be healed after excision.i suggest you to please share pic for confirmation of diagnosis.may be it could be something different which may heal itself.lastly it ia not a barrier for army entrance.for further details you can consult me Thanks

Dear Patient Have you already been diagnosed with Mucocoele.? If yes then it needs  minor surgical removal. If not, please don't self diagnose instead visit for a check-up.

Can you send a pic? As the treatment depends on the size of the mucocele. Also if a sharp tooth is causing it, we need to smoothen that tooth also. It often needs a short surgery for removal , which is done under local anesthesia.
