My wife in first trimester of pregnancy gynecology prescribed mucaine gel for stomach discomfort is that safe during first trimester. How much ml dose advisable

Yes it is safe during pregnancy. She can take it also by dissolving in a 2 -3 tsf in a small  bowl of water with small sips .

She can take 2 tablespoonsful empty stomach thrice daily...it is safe...Ur Gynecologist wouldn't prescribe it otherwise.

Mucaine gel is safe. 10 ml twice daily after each meal is usual dose. But she can also take as and when required.
