Eating gutkha causes irritation to the oral mucosa. Depending on the various conditions , it causes oral submucous fibrosis leading to difficulty in opening the mouth. It can be treated medically & surgically depending on the severity of the pathology.
Next Steps
To discontinue intake of gutkha.
