Dr my grandpa is suffering from motion related issue..its been 10 days unko motion hua hi nhi... Pls suggest me something so that he ll get relief... Waiting for ua response

Hi he is suffering from constipation...for that below steps can be followed:-
Syrup cremaffin 15ml at night
Softolax powder 2 scoops in a glass of warm water at every night..
If he is feeling any heaviness or stomach pain try to give enema.. which will help him get relieved immediately..
Encourage High fiber diet ....

-He should add fibres to his diet ( fruits, green leafy vegetables)
-Increase water intake 4-5 litres per day
-Check wether he is taking any medications that causes constipation like calcium supplements
-For regularisation of his stools he can take 1-2 scoops of Cremadiet in 1-2 glass of water at bed time
-Also remember if he takes laxatives med that might cause him abdo pain and loose stools next day
So better concentrate on diet and water intake

Duphalac ,15 ml hs 2consecutive nights.it may be repeated after 2 days.if that fails practoclyss enema may be used
