Hello, my mother has suffered from terrible vertigo for a really long time. She has gotten at least once a moth since last summer, and has it again tonight. In her episode before this one, she could not even move her hands, or open her mouth to speak. She is constantly vomiting as well. Is this normal for vertigo, or is it more sever?

Hello there.
I can understand your concern.
I don't think you understand the meaning of vertigo.
Take her to a physican or a neurologist in person for further evaluation and management.
It doesn't sound normal.
Since you aren't from India, there is nothing we can do about it.
Best regards.
Dr. Anil Kumar Jain.
