Mother(67 yrs) - Insecurity & Depression
Hi, My mother is reacting little awkward for the past few years in the name of security and it has increased over a period. E.g. She sometime talks and cry alone in her room with lights off, She suspects or doubts everyone, She is also resisting travelling with us outside and sites the reason as someone needs to be there in house as it is not safe. Please help - Not sure how to handle this situation

Hi , looks like suspiciousness n guardedness which can be primary or secondary to depression too . All u need to do is consult psychiatrist - if she is unwilling, u see d doc alone first. One medicine would do to work on her oddity in thought process for d initial phase and then she can be educated
