Both medications will help in reducing anxiety But get a complete evaluation with Psychiatrist, to know whether you need an SSRI

No. They provide symptomatic relief only. Anxiety is a psychiatric disorder and not a neurological disorder. Due to stigma don't consult alternate specialists and take approximate medications. Anxiety occurs due to altered serotonergic system in the mind pathways. A course of SSRIs or SNRIs are the first treaent choice and among them the ideal medicine will be chose by psychiatrist after proper evaluation. So, consult an astute psychiatrist either in person or online and seek remedy. Good luck
