Moderate Tissue left after D&C
I got pregnant with my first child in June 2021. In the third month scan I got to know that there were some issues with foetus and so had to terminate the pregnancy. There was continuous spotting for more than 1.5 months and after a scan we got to know some tissue is still left inside. The doctor said it will come out on its own with periods. But in last 3 months I got my period only once and the cycle has become irregular. I want to start planning again but shall I get the remaining parts removed before getting pregnant again?? Is it harmful to conceive in such situations?

It is always better to get a repeat ultrasound and check for any retained product s and remove them with a check currettage if present and then plan the next pregnancy

Yes. It is better that uterus should be empty. Also you should get at least one normal period before you plan next pregnancy. A retained piece of previous pregnancy can harbour infection and that can lead to serious complications. So if sonography shows some pieces of previous Pregnancy, it is better to get a D&C done.
