Information leaflet of the MMR vaccine suggests to avoid pregnancy for 4 weeks after the last dose. A doctor suggested 2 months, another 3 months and one even suggested 6 months. Is there a specific answer to this question?

It is better to wait for six months.
Not all patients behave in a similar manner after any treatment.
Since Rubella remains a 100% indication for MTP it is better not to take chances.
Most of the anomalies in the foetus due to Rubella may not be picked up by ultrasound. And by the time you get a diagnosis it may be too late.
