Missed abortion
Hi doctor
I was in my 13th week and I went for NT scan today.
Unfortunately, it's missed abortion. Gestation age is only 7 weeks.
What are my options now.? This is second time happening with me. Both times, same kind of issue happened. Cardiac activity stopped around 7 weeks.
My doctor suggested me below
D&C procedure
POCs for karyotyping
Cbc
PT,ApTT
HIV
HCV
HbsAg
COVID RTPCR
But I have another family doctor. She said there is not much point in getting karyotyping. She suggested to use medicine to clean the embryo.
Please help me.

Clearing with medicine may be difficult because the foetus has been dead for quite some time. You mentioned that your pregnancy is 13 weeks but the gestational sac is only 7 weeks.
So D&E is a better alternative.
Karyotyping will not help. The other investigations should be done.
