Miscarriage at 4th month IVF pregnancy
I had a miscarriage 2 years ago at a very early stage. I have been taking infertility treatment. 4 IUIs were unsuccessful. On Dec 14,2023 I had an embryo transfer. 1st IVF attempt. Pregnancy Confirmed on 25 Dec. But on 14th week day 1, when I woke up I noticed amniotic fluid discharged. After scan doctor said the fluid is completely discharged. There is no fluid at all. I got Admitted in hospital. Medicines were given to improve the fluids. But water discharge continued every day. After 4 days baby came down and then they gave injection for pains and miscarriage happened. I would like to know the reason for fluid discharge. How to rule out. Please suggest tests to find out the reason. It's my second miscarriage. Before going for another attempt I would like to know what is the problem. Also my friend said a scan is done after miscarriage. Please suggest which scan to be done.

First of all, would like to know a detailed history of both the miscarriages. There can be infection that leads to fluid leakage. Or a short cervix. Many causes can be there but you need to be evaluated for those. Also, why was IVF done ? Cannot give opinion on just this history.

You have a complicated case history with failed Iui‘s and failed Ivf attempts and abortion so without online consultation It woould not be wise to give you any opinion.
