Hi.. most minoxidil solutions have an alcoholic base, which will worsen the seborrheic dermatitis. Your hair loss could be due to seborrheic dermatitis itself and not its treatment. So you could avoid minoxidil till your scalp gets better or shift to an alcohol free minoxidil
