Minor injury in ankle and upper thigh
My mother fell, she could stand and walk right after the fall but there's a pain at her ankle and upper thigh of right leg. It seems like a minor injury but I know the pain will grow with time in such cases. What primary treatments I should do (like hot /cold water treatment or painkiller) or should I just tigh the ankle tightly.

With the history that u mentioned,  probably a minor ligamentous injury of the ankle, which needs ice packs application, crepe bandage and limb elevation if there is swelling, can take some anti inflammatory if needed.
Next Steps
if there is persistent pain even after 5 days visit a hospital for an xray
