Minor Anal fissure after hard stool
Can cipladine (povidone iodine) be used as a local antimicrobial ointment in and around anus after passing stool and cleaning with sitz bath ?

Don't apply ointment. Use betadine solution for sitz bath. ( That's use warm water with betadine solution of 20 -30ml . your anus should well immersed in water and use the same water to wash also)

Yes, but it is better if you do a sitz bath with betadine solution rather than applying ountment later.
