Milk and health
I have heard people use some kind of injection to cows and buffaloes (oxytocin) so that they can give more milk. Is milk of buffalo that has given injection is harmful for human beings? I dont know my Milkman use injection or not. Should I stop drinking milk. How can i check whether milk is free from chemicals. Thanks

Hello its not necessary for us adults to consume milk. However if you are habituated to drinking regularly, then check for A2 cows milk. Also you can use an alternative like almond or soy milk.
Next Steps
we drink milk for the protein and calcium.  maybe find another source for these.  Calcium u can get from green leafy vegetables like spinach also. Egg white and fish chicken are good sources for protein.
Health Tips
You can check for gaushala which does not use hormonal injections.

Dear Practo user For an adult ,milk is not a necessary food. If u drink or not it doesn't matter. If u feel must consume it daily basis, go for A2 grass fed milk cow .Or collect milk from near by organic  goshalas..They will b free from chemicals. Hi Unsure whether your milk man is using the above mentioned injection or not..for more milk production in cow's and buffaloes.. Best thing is either directly go and get the milk and ask him to do ejection of milk infront of you.. if that's possible.. If that's not being done..then go for a trusted brands in milk packets with green marks instead of black mark..and stick to one particular brand when once you are confirmed if that's a good brand..to continue with for all along..though be careful... Boil milk 100 degrees..as it kills any invisible killers if present.. Cow's milk is good for daily consumtion if not treated.. Please have a check on that by personal inspection.. Thankyou

That oxytocin injected to the animals is to increase milk production. When it comes to human consumption the effect would have been reduced. So v can drink it .

There are home based milk testing kits you can use those to ensure it's chemical free. Secondly try using different sources of milk for every three months and check for any physical or physiological changes that u feel with milk of different origins, chemical laden milk makes one fat faster, hormonal issues and can affect Respiratory system. Hope this helps.
