Mild Foot pain
Hi Doctors, I have pain in the highlighted area in red(please refer the attached picture) from last 2-3 days. What can be the cause? I feel pain while activity like walking etc and at rest as well. Pain is mild though. Thanks in advance

1. Visit near by physiotherapy clinic do proper diagnosis & assessment. 2. Avoid taking pills before u go 3. It could be nerve , muscle, ligaments so better to rule out under a senior sports physiotherapist

Hello mam, there can be so many causes for lateral foot pain. Avoid to much of exercise and rest your foot for some days. Use ice packs 15 mins for every  4 hrs Do calf stretches. Wear comfortable and supportive shoes. Use crepe bandage for support if need.

if the pain is persisting from long time then consult an orthopedician or a physiotherapist  for further evaluation.

I would like to know whether the pain starts from the heel and radiates towards little toe? Is there any specific action when it starts? You should consult a physiotherapist in person for complete assessment and treatment.

Wear soft foot wear, take ultrasoind therapy for a week, keep the leg in luke warm water.

Hi mam. Is this pain same throughout the day or it shows variations? Also does it pain after a longtime if u put ur leg on ground? Try to change footwear, wear soft footwear at home.

overusage of muscles also cause the muscular strain,foot wear correction has to be done. Visit nearby physiotherapy clinic for proper assessment and treatment ,take ultrasonic therapy for 7 days to reduce pain and inflammation.
