I have a recurring issue with my mid back... every 2-3 years it seems to "give out" and leaves me completely cripples and the pain can last for a month... had the feeling the other day and took it easy... no debilitating pain but definitely sore in the mid back... iced it tonight for 20 minutes and the pain went away and the feeling of impending "give out" subsided...
my question is does this mean it's more likely a muscular issue or a disc issue that i fear?
