Include iron-rich foods like green leafy vegetables, dates, pomegranate, beetroot, jaggery, legumes, whole pulses, red meat/eggs (if non-vegetarian).
Take vitamin C–rich foods like lemon, orange, amla with meals to improve iron absorption.
Avoid excess tea/coffee immediately after meals as they reduce iron absorption.
Regular follow-up blood tests may be needed to check hemoglobin improvement and to find out if additional iron supplements are required.
