Metformin Hydrochloride
Hello, my hemoglobin A1C - 6.0 Less than 6.0 non-diabetic range. My prescription from a doctor - Metformin Hydrochloride (twice daily). I feel so bad after I took this medicine. I am stopped. I made call the clinic. They want me still take this medicine. I think this medicine too strong for my result 6.0. What is your opinion? Thank you for your help.

It is in a prediabetic range. Sometimes, medicines are still prescribed when in this range based on the doctors judgement. If the medicine is not suiting you, you can discuss with your doctor regarding starting with a lower dose initially.
