You should get an X-ray done and get the teeth removed if your dentist advises you to do that

Ru sure it's mesiodens??because mesiodens appear in between two front central incisors ,not back....can u upload a pic...if it's behind it can be a remnant f deciduous(milk)tooth which can be easily removed

Mesiodens is an extratooth between the two central incisors.  It is not harmful or anything but it definitely does not look good. It is advisable to extract Mesiodens and after that mostly there is a gap between the two front teeth. They gap can be closed with one of the following measures 1. Braces- metal /ceramic /aligners - natural way to close the gap by moving your teeth and closing the gap. Takes about six to eight months. 2. Veneers - composite direct. Single sitting or two sittings. Can discolor with time. Reasonable 3. Componeers - more lustre and finish. Don't discolor. Better esthetics 4. Porcelain laminates - customization for ur teeth . Don't discolor. More expensive than composite. 5. Crowns - more tooth reduction, good esthetics. More expensive than composite. Cost of all the procedures depends on the individual dentist. Please contact for any further query.
