My father is suffering from mental problem from the last one year, but he thinks he is absolutely fine. He talks nonstop about his old stories, and also talks alone when there is no-one. And sometimes stays silent and sleeping all the time.
And sometimes behave completely normal.
But he is eating and doing the day to day activity time to time.

people having mental problems can have fluctuations and sometimes have episodes where they do not have symptoms. So its necessary to be evaluated and treated, as patient age appears to be beyond 50 years, hence more important that detailed evaluation should be done
