Hey Sukhmani, First of all, I want you to know that you are not alone, and what you’re feeling is valid. Many people go through difficult times like this, and with the right support, things can and will get better. From what you’ve shared, it seems like your mind is overloaded with too many thoughts, making it hard to focus and understand what’s happening. This can feel very frustrating and exhausting. It’s completely understandable that you’re feeling emotionally overwhelmed. What’s Happening and Why? Overthinking can make it feel like your mind is racing non-stop, and this can lead to exhaustion, confusion, and emotional distress. Feeling low, sad, or hopeless for a long time could be a sign of anxiety or depression. The fact that you’ve had suicidal thoughts is very serious, and I want you to know that help is available.
Next Steps
What You Can Do Right Now 1. Reach Out for Help – Even if your parents don’t understand, there are people who will. Find a trusted friend, teacher, counselor, or therapist to talk to. You don’t have to go through this alone. 2. Speak to a Professional – A psychologist or counselor can help you slow down your thoughts and teach you ways to manage them. 3. Crisis Support – If you ever feel like you might hurt yourself, please reach out to a mental health helpline in your area. You deserve to be safe and supported. Simple Steps to Feel Better Write down your thoughts – This can help clear your mind and stop overthinking. Breathe deeply – Try slow, deep breaths to calm yourself when thoughts get overwhelming. Take small breaks – Walk outside, listen to music, or do something relaxing to reset your mind. Avoid harsh self-judgment – It’s okay to struggle. You’re not weak; you’re just going through a tough time, and you deserve kindness, especially from yourself.
Health Tips
You Deserve Support It may feel like no one understands, but there are people who care and want to help. You don’t have to go through this alone. The first step is reaching out—and I truly believe you have the strength to do that. Would you like help finding a therapist or helpline? I'm here to support you.

Sukhmani, I hear you, and I want you to know that your feelings are valid. Overthinking and feeling overwhelmed can make it seem like everything is spiraling out of control, and the lack of support from your parents can make it even harder. You are not alone in this, and what you are experiencing is real and deserves care.
Next Steps
Reach out for support – If your parents are not understanding, try talking to a trusted teacher, friend, or relative. You deserve to be heard. Seek professional help – A psychologist or counselor can guide you through this. Free mental health helplines are also available if you need immediate help. Create a small action plan – Start with writing down your thoughts, practicing mindfulness, or engaging in a hobby that brings comfort. Safety first – If you’re having suicidal thoughts, please reach out to a crisis helpline or a mental health professional. You don’t have to go through this alone.
Health Tips
Try grounding exercises like the 5-4-3-2-1 method (naming 5 things you see, 4 things you feel, etc.) when overwhelmed. Practice self-compassion—don’t judge yourself for struggling. Remember, emotions come in waves. This feeling is heavy, but it won’t last forever. Help is available, and you deserve it.
