Menstrual health, guidance needed
I'm writing to seek the expertise on a concerning issue related to menstrual cycle. On the anticipated first day of her period, she encountered no bleeding. But she did experience bleeding during our protected intercourse without ejaculation. Subsequently, she observed brown spotting for the following 2-3 days. Given her hereditary condition of delayed periods, I'm seeking your guidance to comprehend this situation and receive advice on appropriate steps. In our recent consulate with the doctor, she recommended a pregnancy test. I'm anxious about whether a pregnancy test is required, considering that delayed may also be influenced by stress which she's been experiencing particularly related to her job and career. Could you please shed light on this concern and suggest any additional examinations or steps that may be advisable. PS: I didn't ejaculate during the whole intercourse and it has always been protected one i double crosschecked the condom.

Your writeup suggests that you want to be reassured that she isnt pregnant but really sorry A pregnancy test is one hundred percent required. Everything has a solution but first a diagnosis is required.
Next Steps
Urine pregnancy test and a pelvic ultrasound if seven days have passed since her expected date of menses.

In the whole discussion you didn't mention what was her last menstrual date? And how many days her periods are delayed If periods are delayed everytime then get thyroid profile, Prolactin level and ultrasound done
