Menstrual cramps
Hi my wife has taken cyclopalm to reduce the pain. She usually takes if she cannot bear menstrual pain. Today the tablet is ineffective. Can anyone please suggest an alternate and better one?

Tablet alone wont help. Ask her to do following
- use hot water bottle
- avoid stress and take sufficient rest
- avoid coffee and cold drinks
- avoid too much salt
- regular gentle exercise and yoga may not help immediately but will help in long run
- take care to avoid nutritional deficiency
- nothing can beat homeopathy in getting quick effective relief

Excessive production of prostaglandins is one of the major causes for most signs and symptoms of dysmenorrhea. Primary dysmenorrhea is almost wholly due to this and may be due to a tight cervix, the mouth of the uterus. Such cases improve totally after a normal child birth due to stretching of the uterine musculature. If homoepathic pharmacy is near by you can give her cimicifuga 200 stat dose only ,if not then T.meftal spas 1 tablet.If pain persists visit a gynaec.A hot pouch over abdomen would help to releive pain as well.
