Meniscus can repair depending on which part of the meniscus is torn. The meniscus will have to be repaired for it to heal.
ACL will have to be reconstructed if damaged. But ACL reconstruction is dependent on if there are symptoms consistent with an ACL tear. Not everyone with an ACL tear needs surgery.
The success rates of these surgeries are good provided they are done by competent people.
