Menopause stage
After a gap of 6 months my sister had sever bleeding for 2 days . Is it normal, it is for my sister, she is 52 now has she attended menopause stage. But she experience too much hot flashes these days.

an ultrasound scanner shows a thickened endometrium it needs definitely and endometrial biopsy which is done as office procedure and hot flashes can be treated with medicines

Sometimes it happens near menopause. If she has attained menopause previously then its not normal.
Next Steps
An Ultrasonography should be done to rule out any abnormality and if found, endometrial biopsy would be required.
