Memory problem

Suddenly from past few weeks I am experiencing something very stupid and annoying. I am a science student n I have never had problem with numbers or something but suddenly now I am finding problems in simple problems(normal 2 digit multiplication). I can't recollect simple spellings which I used to know, in that case auto correct helps me out. But in notebook I am having hard time. Then I spell words wrong(wrong I sense I know spelling but I skip letters n directly write last 2 or 3 letters). N during letters I write sometimes write letter 'a' as 'd', 'u' as 'y' n similar problems. Today limits were crossed when I got confused in number 3 ,like its written like this 3 or it is inverted. Please help. I can't remember names of ppl I meet n I forget things like what I had said, etc Usually these symptoms r of dyslexia but that ain't possible cause from childhood I was a bright student n never has problem like this before.

Dear friend,
For your condition, firstly you should rule out if there are any neurological symptoms.
If there are no neurological symptoms, then get help from a psychotherapist. As you had mentioned, you are a bright student, this condition might have come due to stress, anxiety and depression. This can be cured with simple breathing techniques.

Hi, I would suggest you take a Neurologist opinion ASAP, if neurologically everything seems to be alright, then you can consult a Psychiatrist.
This could be symptoms of severe stress , Anxiety , Depression or OCD and will need detailed evaluation.
It does not seem like dyslexia as you rightly mentioned you have been a bright student from childhood.
Hope this helps, All the best.

Hello. I suggest you seek a psychiatric consult for the symptoms mentioned above to look for any underlying vascular illness, although uncommon at this age, it is still non understandable for you to have such difficulties. If there is nothing contributory neurologically, a psychiatric consult for any underlying anxiety disorder like OCD shall be required..kindly do not leave this unattended as it has been persistent for few weeks now. Even though our dependence on autocorrect has increased, it still does not justify, the difficulties you are facing. Hope this helps, good luck!
