Medler and LergiSET-AF safety early preg
Hi Doctor, I am 6-7 weeks pregnant and having cough from 2 weeks with nasal congestion, seems like postnasal drip and I need to cough forcefully to clear my throat. At night I can't sleep as cough and phelgm keeps building in throat and I need to clear throat every 30 mins or so. I am currently traveling to India and my doctor in Canada told to avoid any cough medication as its not safe in 1st trimester and to follow home remedies for relief. Home remedies did not help much so I went to see a local Gynae doctor in India. she prescribed me Medler for cough and LergiSET-AF nasal spray, which is mentioned as not safe for early pregnancy. I got both meds but did not take them yet after searching online. Can you please advise if its risky to take these or any other medicine or something which can relieve from green phelgm build up and sinus/nasal congestion. I am vomiting due to coughing almost everyday and feeling weak.
