17/12/18 was 10 th day of your cycle I believe , if so that would be unsafe period and chance of pregnancy is high. The best emergency contraception would be copper coil insertion within 5 days of unprotected sexual intercourse. If that option is not suitable for you for personal or medical reasons then next would be oral emergency contraception. Again that has 2 choices- first line- Ulipristal acetate, if not ipill ( levonorgestrel pill) But, if ovulation had already occurred oral pills are unlikely to prevent pregnancy. Moreover, earlier pills are taken more effective they are. My advice would be to consult gynaecologist as soon as possible to decide the best option for you among above three based on your medical and personal conditions. They should be prescribed by gynaecologist after assessing you - to be suitable, safe and effective as well. Better, to plan about future contraception as well with this episode if required.
