Pt was in fluoxetine for 2 weeks now complaining of decreased appetite .should we stop the medicine?

GI disturbance is common side effects with fluoxetine and you can take medicine with food and PPI can be added to minimise the GI side effect.

No , You need not stop it . Decrease appetite is one of the symptoms you get when Fluoxetine is started. Many times this improves after few weeks. Appetisers can also be added to improve the appetite.
