One of my retire  aged 15 was diagonised with chicken pox today. Since this is highly contagious, is there any preventive medicine in homeopathy that one can take?

In my opinion there is no need to take prventive medicine for it..just maintin proper hygene.do not go in to fear this infact increases the chances of infection by compromising your immunity.if you had this in past there are least chances of repeating..
