Medication for insomnia
I am a breastfeeding mother of one year old baby undergoing treatment for PPD. Currently on nexito 10 and lonazep .25 sos. Facing excessive worry and anxiety.feel scared at night as if someone is Keeping eye on me. every night i am unable to sleep. Local OPD closed due to lockdown. More depressed due to constantly staying at home. Plz suggest some remedy. I am very worried. Can i cure my insomnia and anxiety with medication. Plz suggest

keep a gap of atleast 2 hours between taking medicine and breastfeeding if you wish to continue breastfeeding..

Increase night time Nexito dose, take dose after feeding your baby. Have you develop these symptoms recently or they present from long time like scaring at night time or some one is looking at me, need some detail about it. Rest add some relaxation and indoor exercise like yoga aerobics etc.

You can increase the dose of medication (Nexito to 15mg) and I would suggest you to stop breast feeding as baby is already one year old

Do not increase meds any more how ever consider the following 1. Don't sleep during the day 2. Do exercise. 3. Eat more fibre food. 4. Go for short but fast walks. 5. Sweat it out

Consult a psychiatrist online for evaluation and counselling. Medicines that you’re taking will help with depression, anxiety and insomnia. Do you have adequate help at home?.
Health Tips
1) good diet, daily schedule for baby naps and feeding, stay active & adequate hydration. 2)Take adequate rest and take help from spouse w.r.t childcare.
