The inferior alveolar nerve must be affected a lot considering the intensity of fracture as described by yourselves. This will take time to heal and gradually you must regain your senses in those areas. Further in severe fracture like this there will inflammation (swelling) due to the impact of injury as well as due to the extensive surgical procedure undergone by you. Take necessary medications and give sufficient time to heal completely. In case of fracture and reduction healing time is very important and you can't expect everything back to normal in very short span.
Next Steps
If you find it highly annoying visit your oral and maxillofacial surgeon and get necessary medications for both problems.
Health Tips
In the mean time try to do works from home and take good rest. Rest is needed for good healing. Concentrate yourself in something interesting and it will give you good results in relieving mental stress with considerable physical healing.
