Hi,
It sounds like you're experiencing a recurrence of depressive symptoms and are considering resuming medication. If you found Fludac helpful during your previous depressive episode, it may be worth discussing with your doctor whether restarting the medication could be beneficial for you now. However, it's important to have a thorough evaluation by a healthcare professional to determine the best course of action for managing your symptoms. Additionally, therapy and other forms of support can complement medication in treating depression and helping you cope with challenging situations. Prioritize your mental health and reach out for professional guidance and support.
Well, that can be answered by a Psychiatrist. I wish people could understand that medicines cant change how you live your life. Cant teach you coping mechanisms. I have a friend who has been on medications for years but still living the same kind of life. I told him to start taking therapy. He feels much better now.
Next Steps
Therapy is needed along with medications. Medication alone will never be able to change anything.
Health Tips
Consider taking professional help/therapy/counselling. It will definitely help. Video consultations are as powerful as face to face sessions. There's hardly any difference.
You need to understand yourself, your situation and how to cope with all these difficulties.
As medications are important for the body so does the therapy.
It is better not to force anything upon you.
It is always a good option to connect with a psychologist in this case.
Hi. Sorry to hear about your situation. Please consult with a psychiatrist before you resume any pills as they may want to change your prescription given your current symptoms. I would also recommend that you start working with a psychologist to unpack these symptoms and learn healthy coping tools.
Next Steps
Meet with psychiatrist to update prescription and continue therapy with psychologist
