My son aged 7 years reported abdomen pain following bouts of vomiting. He is 20 kg. Paedtrician advised an ultrasound suspecting appendicitis. US report suggests periportal cuffing, free fluid in pelvic region (20 ml), streak of fluid in Morrison's pouch & perispelmic area. I am a novice in medical terminology and its understanding. Kindly guide
