It's not cancerous  ,,. There is a double about tuberculosis in the node as due to presence of necrosis in it ... Go for CBNET  test which will give u the most sensetive results ..

Please get the PCR assay of the aspirated material, another option is Centrifuge the pus and get a another smear from Centrifuged pus. If the pus is in sufficient quality. Pus for culture and sensitivity is another test possible. Please discuss with your Pathologist.

U will need further tests , ESR , CBC,  mantoux test , sputum for AFB,  if pus is present then send it for culture.
