Lymph node tuberculosis
My left neck swelling due to LNT. I am taking  ANT from one month. Under treatment I have paradoxical to ATT my swelling is increased. What is it means?  Can I stop taking  medicine or not?

Do not stop your anti tubercular drugs. Ask treating physician to check for cold abscess in lymph nodes. If it is positive. Abscess has to aspirate with 18 gauze  needle and sent for MDR TB PANEL TEST.that includes # Gene expert for TB, AFB smear,Rapid AFB culture .and if MDR positive  revise drugs.

No you should not stop the medication. In lymph node TB it is known to happen to increase the swelling on treatment. It is a chemical reaction which comes with your health improving with medicines. So continue your treatment and have a detailed discussion with your doctor or approach a pulmonologist.
