My daughter had lymph node swelling on neck left side below jaw. Ultrasound shows it's 25mm size. Doc prescribed antibiotics for 1 week. Now the swelling is reduced almost 80-90 % but I feel it's not gone completely. If we carefully touch we can feel the node with fingers and she had no pain now. It's almost a month now and my question will that not go to normal size?? Usually swelling LN go back to normal size??

Neck Lymphnodes drain something called lymph from specific areas of the head and neck. So if she is still having the problem, it means the source of infection is still there or the antibiotics given were not enough. Could u tell which antibiotics were taken?
