Consult a nearby gynaecologist or general surgeon once. Location, size, hardness and mobility determine the exact reason. Lipomas are also palpable and people often mistake them for lymphnode swellings. So consulting a physician helps you to identify the cause.

No generally many people have few palpable lymph nodes in different areas of their body. 1cm is an average cut off measurement except a few areas like groin where upto 1.5cm is normal. There is nothing to get tensed about a palpable lymph node. Keep an eye for other signs like hard, painful, fixed, rapidly increasing in size, multiple matted lymph nodes, significant weight loss, long duration fever- in these cases consultation with a physician is preferable.

Lymph nodes are generally considered to be normal if they are up to 1 cm in diameter. The body has approximately 600 lymph nodes, but only those in the submandibular, axillary or inguinal regions may normally be palpable in healthy people. Your condition sounds like a normal lymph node
